Dahlia arrived in Key West from Dallas, Texas, where she owed the Dahlia Woods Gallery and showed rising Texas artists, including the mixed media artist Katie Marata and the sculptor Etty Horowitz, as well as her own work.  Dahlia studied art at the High School of Art & Design in NYC, the University of New Hampshire and at Southern Methodist University under the tutelage of the renown painter Bill Komodore.  Her paintings are in the Dallas Mayor’s Office, the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau offices and many private collections.  Dahlia’s color palette is inspired by the Fauvists.
DAHLIA's NEWEST PROJECT: Creating new backdrops for the Key West Fringe Theater's 2014 production of Conch Republic (the musical) coming to the San Carlos Theater April 25-27. Here's her Key West postcard.
